Andrew Reed Gallery is a Miami and New York-based gallery working with emerging and mid-career artists. The gallery seeks to create a dialogue of artists both domestic and international, working across a variety of media while exploring what it means to create art today.
Andrew Reed
Born and raised in Miami, Andrew Reed graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, studying Politics, Philosophy, and Economics, and Art History, and continued on with his art historical studies at The Courtauld Institute of Art in London, where he earned a Master’s degree in Art History. Andrew focused on early Netherlandish art, writing his dissertation on Hieronymus Bosch and his influence in Venice in the first quarter of the sixteenth century. He has since worked at Sotheby’s, David Zwirner, and David Kordansky. In these prior jobs, he became highly acquainted with online sales, gallery expansion, and the auction market.
As Miami continues to expand as a cultural nexus, Andrew looks to present domestic and international artists in a context that benefits the creator and the community at large.
